There are so many software that is available in the market now. Some are paid and some are completely free and open source. I have been using GOM Player for the past 2+ years and I never wanted to switch back.
This Software is so amazing and I almost play every video format that I have. There were sometimes where I had to find the codec, but its OK. I also installed “AC3 filter†software for better audio support.

I am not sure how this company makes money, but I do not think that I contains Spyware or Adware. It is a fantastic and BEST Media Player software that you should at the least try and see. I 100% recommend GOM Player.
