Best Video Player Software

There are so many software that is available in the market now. Some are paid and some are completely free and open source. I have been using GOM Player for the past 2+ years and I never wanted to switch back.

This Software is so amazing and I almost play every video format that I have. There were sometimes where I had to find the codec, but its OK. I also installed “AC3 filter” software for better audio support.

Here is the list of some advantages

GOM Player is free
GOM player has simple interface and does not take too much of resource compared to “VLC media Player”
GOM Player has so many shortcuts, so you will never need to do too many clicks to adjust settings
It has one click option to mini Control Panel, where you set up Audio Equalizer, Video Brightness and Subtitle adjustment etc… Very friendly
Preference interface is modern with few left side menu and detailed inside menu
Subtitle support
- Subtitle can be customized to any color or any size and place it anywhere on the page
- Subtitle fonts can be changed too
Change the Player skin to your like
Inbuilt browser support
Customize Keyboard shortcuts
Easy Fast forwarding
So many Video controls
- Adjust Contrast and Brightness
- Change the aspect ratio
- Change the widow size
- Improve low quality video
There are so many options and you should try downloading it once and see for yourself

I am not sure how this company makes money, but I do not think that I contains Spyware or Adware. It is a fantastic and BEST Media Player software that you should at the least try and see. I 100% recommend GOM Player.

uTorrent a Powerful Bittorrent Client to download the files today

I was using Bitcomet for a long time but I do not like the new versions as they are getting more commercial and blocking the speed of the download purposefully (I guess so)

So compared to any other Bittorrent client utorrent is one of the best

Features of uTorrent

uTorrent is lightweight
uTorrent does not consume too much resources of your computer like Limewire
More options than other Bit Torrent client

You all know what is BitTorrent if you do not know you can read it in Wikipedia torrent page

So you have found a website to download music, movies, audio, software or games or anything interests you. The next step is to download the torrent to your computer.

Then download uTorrent or anything of your choice

Open uTorrent and you will see the following interface

Open the downloaded file

I have downloaded a torrent file to download Firefox 3.0 (This is legal because you can share Firefox)

Open the file and see the description below inside the image

First choose the location you want to download the file

Give it a label, now we are downloading only one file but soon or later you will have 100′s of the files queued in Utorrent, It will be hard for you to find the ones you are looking for if you have no lable. Give it labels like “Browser”

The other settings are default setting that you do not need to touch

If you want the file download to start later uncheck “Start Torrent”

Sometime your download bunch will have more than 2 files, if you do not want to download all the files just uncheck the file list

If you go to advanced Tab you will see the Image as below

Setting torrent Properties

This is also called torrent properties setting

The websites are the ones that has the trackers (to make it easy to understand – the websites see how many people are sharing (Seeding) the file, how many are downloading etc. The more trackers you have, the more speed you get to download the file

If you do not any just leave everything to default

You can set the internet speed for each torrent file you download, so your normal work does not get affected

If you click on the advanced tab on top you will get the window as shown below

You can automatically run specific programs when the download completes such as Media Player or Document viewer etc..

Then click OK to start the download

The rest is very much self explanatory

Seeders: Seeders are the ones that have the full file in their computer

Peers or Leechers are the one that download the files from the seeders

Once you finish the download, you computer will automatically upload the files to some Leechers, You will be a seeder then

You can stop uploading the files by clicking on the stop button at the top

You can pause a download and start it again

You can close the application and start the download later

You can shutdown your computer and then start the application to download the paused download. You will not loose any downloaded portion of it. This is Good right?

When you click on the Peers Tab, you can see all the people who is seeding and downloading the file

Again Here you can select which file to download pause or stop by rght clicking on the file name

Limewire is a great tool to download and share files.

You can find Movies, Audio, Video, Music, Books, Documents, Software and many more.

Here is how it looks like

I use Pro version and the free version is similar to the pro with few added features.

Lets find some audio file using Limewire

Open Lime wire and Click
Enter “Think and grow Rich” in the search parameter

Wait till the top header turns in to green, i.e., wait for the search to complete
Find the availability by the number of seeders or sharers
Choose the maximum number with the appropriate title and click download
This will download the file into your� computer
You will require the someone to share files for you, this can be an unknown individual from any location, all you need is a person who has the file should switch on Limewire

This is more secure program to download the files for free
You can click the Video Tab to download movies or music videos
To download Documents, Images, Software or all types of files by choosing the left control panel
Lime wire also has the library to maintain the documents that you download

Limewire also comes with the Media player to play the audio that you have downloaded

You can browse the downloaded files from the bottom section
There are more options available to tune the download speed by changing the settings
This will by default take all your internet connection speed to download the files you have selected, So change the settings or download when the internet connection is free

This will list number of websites that has the ebooks for downloading. You may not fnd all the books in one place, you will have to seahc the internet to get the book that you want. Dont just get addicted with the 1st page search result� that Google gives, often this is wrong and the vistors dont get satisfied.

Just look beyond 2nd and 3rd page or more to get what you want.

Most of these websites are illegal, I am afraid to give links to them. But use google, “google is the pirate king”

It is very easy to download movies from Internet. There are number of ways to do it. Some are illegal and some are not. These are done under the basis of sharing.

These 3 sites will serve the purpose, you do not need to look any further. They have limited advertisement and there is limited malware and other crappy stuffs.

You can use these sites to download many things other than movies also, such as Audio books, Games, E-books, TV shows, Software, etc…

But use it with caution, most of these are illegal
